Sunday March 6th 2016 Peyton Manning announced that he will retire after 18 long NFL seasons. Peyton Manning was originally drafted in 1998 by the Indianapolis Colts. Peyton Manning spent 13 season with the Indianapolis Colts and threw for 54,828 yards and 399 touchdowns. In 2012 he was sidelined for the whole year due to having neck surgery. In the offseason the Indianapolis Colts granted him a release, but in the offseason he was picked up by the Denver Broncos. He spent 4 years with Denver and while in the organization he threw for 17,112 yards and 140 touchdowns. He will retiring with the most touchdowns in NFL with 539 and he also has the most NFL passing yards with 71,940.

In my opinion Peyton Manning made a wise choice to retire because he is retiring on top. What is a better way to retire then after winning a Super Bowl. He will go down as one of the most respected quarterbacks in NFL history due to all his accomplishments and achievements he's reached throughout his long career.
